Savoy cabbage in cream

Ingredients

Savoy Cabbage - 0.5
Fennel seeds
Cream
Salt
White pepper

Method

Remove any gnarly outer leaves and remove the base with a knife

Peel off about half the number of leaves to serve 2

Half each leaf by cutting down the middle. Then finely slice

Wash leaves

Heat pan on medium heat. Then add oil or butter. Add fennel seeds to cook for a minute

Add cabbage to pan and with a little water and cover with lid. The cabbage will cook by the heat from the pan and steam

Cook for about 5 to 8 minutes. Add more water if the pan becomes dry

Stir in cream and season. Cook for anther minute then serve
